The design story

The Euphrates rises in eastern Anatolia and flows past Commagene — the river every traveller from Germanicia crossed on the way east. Euphrates takes its colour: a washed denim blue scattered with blush and ivory blossoms, gathering into a lacy floral bloom at the centre and a dense flowering border. Like light on water, the pattern shimmers rather than sits still.
