The design story

The vine scroll — vitis — is one of the oldest ornaments of the Mediterranean floor: a branching stem of leaves and grapes curling across a pale ground. Vitis draws a lattice of lavender and plum stems across ivory, with palmettes and flower heads at every junction in teal, rose and violet. A deep plum border with a narrow ivory guard frames it like a mosaic panel. Romantic and layered, and surprisingly easy to live with.

Care

Vacuum regularly without a beater bar. Blot spills promptly and spot-clean with mild soap and water. Rotate every six months. Professional cleaning when needed. Do not machine wash. Use a suitable non-slip underlay on hard floors.
